With over 20 plus years experience in the beauty industry as a hairdresser, Monique Godbout realized a dream and fulfilled one of her many goals when she opened her eclectic boutique and health spa in 2005.
Monique grew up on her family’s farm and certainly isn’t a stranger to hard work! Her vibrant energy has always been focused on superior customer service. With Monique’s passion for business, it’s no wonder that this busy entrepreneur has been nominated for several awards and won the prize for “Best Service” in 2009 in Edmundston, NB.
The Centre Énergie Mystik offers a wide range of services from aesthetics, massage therapy, reflexology, laser treatments, and weight loss consultations utilizing the Ideal Protein product, all combined in a unique boutique of gifts designed to lift your spiritual side!
“What makes my store different,” says Monique, ”is that my employees are colleagues. We get together once a month to brainstorm about the business. Everyone contributes ideas that help us grow and stay unique. I always listen and give careful consideration to the added value they bring to the business. When you walk into the “Centre” it’s like no another little store – there’s always something new and different offered at a great price. It’s the entire package deal of amazing products and services that my whole team can stand behind.”
Monique gives high praise for other female entrepreneurs in the region for being role models and for encouraging her in her business. The networking that is done through the Women’s Business Network group is incomparable.
Her advice to budding entrepreneurs is simple: “Take away the fear. Fear can stop you before you even start. Take away the fear and anything is possible. Put confidence into your projects and they will work out.”
Beautiful, supportive and unique, the Centre Énergie Mystik is a ‘must see’ shop in the Edmundston area.
