NB Women in Business Initiative Survey

September 15th, 2017

Dear Women Entrepreneurs of New Brunswick,

Women in Business/Femmes en Affaires NB have initiated a review and evaluation of the Women in Business Initiative (WBI) program. We look forward to engaging as many women business owners as possible in this process. This review is intended to identify the successes and challenges women entrepreneurs face in New Brunswick and the ways in which the WBI has supported and can continue to support NB women business owners.

The WBI is committed to providing valuable support in the areas of:

  • Access to Information and Capital
  • Business Management & Entrepreneurial Skills Development
  • Network Events/Activities and Gala Recognition
  • Export Development & Supplier Diversity
  • Productivity & Growth
  • Communication & Awareness

This survey is intended for all women entrepreneurs of New Brunswick, whether you have been involved in the WBI program or not.

The WBI must understand fully the environment (demographic, geographic, economic and social) in which women entrepreneurs provide their goods and services in order to strengthen the WBI program.

We have engaged the services of Fairwinds Training and Development to assist us in this evaluation process. We are very interested to hear your thoughts on the current environment and future opportunities.

Please click the link below to access the anonymous and confidential online survey, which will first take you through a few demographic questions to help get a clear picture of women-owned businesses in NB, and then will allow you to provide your feedback, thoughts, and recommendations on the WBI.

The feedback gathered here will be extremely valuable to us as we move forward with this important initiative. We greatly appreciate your time and consideration. The survey will be live until October 1st, 2017.

“When I met the NB Association of CBDC’s they were willing to help and give advice, that’s when I really felt like I had made the choice by opening this business in New Brunswick. You just don’t get that attention in bigger cities.” In Toronto for example there may not have been an economic development agency that is eager for you to open your own business.
